ETIQUETTE | guides us in proper behavior on the Internet. There are widely accepted rules of behavior to follow when you're online. It is very important to learn and follow these rules. *It would be a safer way if people actuallY used ETIQUETTE while using the internet. |
CONDUCT | personal behavior; way of acting *Your CONDUCT while using the interent should always be good. |
COURTESY | a courteous act or expression *Surprise someone by being COURTEOUS randomly, it can make their day. |
FLAME | A searing e-mail or newsgroup message in which the writer attacks another participant in overly harsh, and often personal, terms. Flames are an unfortunate, but inevitable, *Sending someone a FLAME email can really hurt their feelings, dont do it. |
TROLL | To deliberately post derogatory or inflammatory comments to a community forum, chat room, newsgroup and/or a blog in order to bait other users into responding. |
ANONYMOUS | something or someone that is unknown; undiscovered. Anonymity, the state where a person's name and other personally identifying ... *When someone callls ou ANONYMOUS it can be a litte scary. |
EMOTICON | A smiley is often used in text communications to convey an emotion with a message. *If someone sends me a happy EMOTICON in a text it makes me smile also. |
OBVIOUS | easily perceived or understood clearly *Some things i say are super OBVIOUS and some people just dont seem to understand what im saying. |
TONE | the manner of expression in writing *I hate it wheni get a text message with a sirious TONE. |
